Road Bike Pumps
What makes a mini pump a road pump? A small diameter bore. Road tyres run at much higher pressure than mountain tyres. It's technically possible to reach these pressures with a large-bore pump, but you'll need to be very strong. For quick inflation, a longer pump or a dual-action pump will help. Dual action pumps pump from one chamber into another on the outstroke, and push all that air into the tyre on the instroke, so you won't be battling 100psi on the outstroke.
